I’m not Greek, but I got the chance to yell “OPA!” and celebrate Greek Independence Day at Atlantikós a hidden gem of The St. Regis Bal Harbour Hotel back in March. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Atlantikós promises a truly authentic greek dining experience in Miami. Greece is still on my bucket list, but Atlantikós’ decor makes me feel transported to the islands. It’s reminiscent of the bright blue and white contrasting colors of Greece of course but it’s a vibe as well.
We started the evening of with a champagne sabering ceremony. They do this ceremony frequently at The St. Regis Bal Harbour as it’s part of the history of the hotel. I’ve done a stay at this hotel before and I would recommend it if you need to stay in the Bal Harbour area. Heck even if you don’t, “just because” always works too. You can check out my two posts at the property here and here. After champagne, we made our way to Atlantikós and dined on a curated menu of high quality seafood and Greek fare. Once the food started arriving I was so immersed in good eats and conversation. Atlantikós is #EatLikeRia approved all around.
