Statues and Stuff 🌸🌷🌺

September 2014, that’s when Emily and I took these photos. 😂 I still have about 3 more shoots to share and then I’ll be completely up to date and HAVE to shoot some more. Since flares are back in a big way for the upcoming season this look remains relevant. While this particular style sold out at PyloUSA, they have other great flared styles.

You know when you live somewhere you grow accustomed to things always being there. You tend to not see them anymore, to kind of look past them. I rarely go to the beach unless someone comes to visit and it’s only 10-15 min away. But if you told me I couldn’t go to the beach, it’d upset me. I read an article that the Elizabeth Street Garden (shoot location) is on the chopping block. New York City wants to turn the space into affordable housing for seniors. I don’t know much about the neighborhood and what it needs, but I enjoyed the garden quite a bit. It’s a nice oasis, yet I’ve only been once.

All this to say, pause..take a moment and appreciate the world around you. You never know when the opportunity will disappear.
