Kia totally made my trip to California last month. They loaned me a brand new 2015 Kia Forte EX to cruise around Los Angeles and road trip to Palm Springs with. I like how sleek this car was for us. It had “welcome lights” like the Kia K900 I drove in December. Emily got a kick out of the lights illuminating automatically as soon as you approach the car. I used the sun roof while Emily drove to get some sick road shots. I just stuck my hands up and clung to my phone for dear life. Check out our sun roof shots below along with a bonus passenger seat shot.
We took advantage of the ventilated seats when we got hot and then the heated seats when we got cold. Lol the weather was very up and down. The steering wheel is also heated in this bad boy. Pretty much the only thing I disliked about this car was the stereo system. I like to connect via bluetooth and with the other cars I’ve been driving they usually reconnect automatically to my phone when I get back in. No matter what I tried, it was always on radio default. Plugging your phone in directly to the car circumvents this issue though. As always the backup rear camera is indispensable, the car letting us know we needed gas totally saved our butts. Along with the navi to tell us where to find the closest one. We got really great gas mileage out of this car for all the driving we did. Started with a full tank and only filled up twice I believe. The Kia Forte starts at $15,890.
