Update from my last post. I got casted with Paul Mitchell as a texture demonstration model. So Saturday I went over to the Orange County Convention Center to do prep at 9 am. They said I was coming in for a relaxer. Well they had other models there for prep as well so I didn’t get outta there until around 7 p.m. even though they were pretty much working on me all day. They used “The Relaxer” on my hair. Then they used lightner on pieces and I had foil in my hair for the first time ever lol. Then they used “PM shines” and the stylist mixed a few color shots in there too to make his own final color. My hair looks fabulous. It’s never had this much bounce. I told the different people that worked on my hair that they were gonna spoil me and I wouldn’t be able to go back to my own salon. Ron who relaxed my hair was giving me tips that basically made me realize my regular stylist is doing it all wrong. 🙁
So tomorrow my call time is 6 a.m. and I’ll have to go to wadrobe to get fitted and everything and then my hair will be cut by Paul Mitchell’s Global Ambassador (Floyd Kenyatta) on stage. I have no idea how they’re gonna cut it or what. I’m really hoping they don’t lop it all off. Ron has money going on whose going to cry when they cut their hair. I’m gonna make sure I’m NOT one of those girls.
P.S. – New videos up on 12seconds.tv so you can see my hair now. They were done late at night with no makeup on so I look kinda busted as one of my friends was only so happy to tell me lol. She’s like ummm go to bed. Beauty sleep chica.

Congratulations on getting casted. By relaxed, do you mean getting it straighten or curled? It means two different things for women of color and women of non-color. Anywho, I can’t view the video, but I bet your looks great. Don’t be a wimp like those chicks who cry their eyes out over hair, it will grow back. They act like their losing a damn arm or something lol

wo0w dat sounds pretty fun. I love to have a treatment on my hair toO, i haven’t tried da relaxer yet but I pretty much like da rebonding, I ain’t sure if what relaxer does to ur hair, but I think it’s good to try. CongRats anywae!!

I’m happy for you that you got casted. It sounds like you have been pretty busy. I’m glad that you like your hair. I am so over the hair salon thing. I have had horrible experiences.I wasn’t able to view the video but the way but I’m sure your hair looks fabulous diva!
