There’s always something going on in Miami, something for me to get into. Moving to Miami from Orlando all those years gave my blog a huge injection of content. I went from the occasional mall event to luxury suites and villas, and champagne fêtes and more. Getting to that content is crucial for my work. Major thanks to the Kia Optima and Drive Shop (always) for helping me make the journey.

When my car died I didn’t bother getting a new one. Moving from 30 minutes outside of Miami to the Upper East Side of Miami had a lot to do with that decision. I Uber a lot which is convenient most of the time but there’s nothing like having your own car. When I miss it, or am going to have an event heavy week, I borrow a media loaner.
From parties in parking garages (pictured in this post), to Star Island, to hotels I need a reliable car. I drive a lot of Kia’s and it’s so hard because I don’t think I’ve ever driven one that I dislike. This last one as I mentioned earlier was the Kia Optima. Great gas mileage, which is crucial for me if I decide to go all over the earth. When I have these cars I think of no less than 1000 extra things to do in addition to my work events and regular errands. I guess that let’s you know the Kia Optima is fun and easy to drive. I’ve had a couple of loaners I didn’t like and didn’t go anywhere with. I love the Kia UVO media system. It’s easy to use, nor does it feel like a distraction while you’re driving.
If I were to get a car again, a couple of Kia’s would be in the running as viable options. The price points are excellent and you don’t have to sacrifice luxury. That’s what I’m all about.
