I wanted to share another one of the last few things I did before this worldwide pandemic. I’m sure at this point, we’ve all sat down and looked back at old pictures and memories that feel so far away. Meanwhile this was only in February, and I’ve seen Emilie only once since then. These are people that I used to see several times a week now I don’t see them at all except online. It’s so bizarre.
Are you feeling disconnected from your friends, family or even coworkers? I’ve started meeting up with a select few people for dinner, or to celebrate life occasions. It’s nice to see my people but it’s taken me awhile to be comfortable while it feels like it’s been no sweat for some. Now I’m a little more at ease about it especially because some instance I’ve had to be around others for work. My job isn’t essential but it is essential I pay this rent. LOL. I’m still deliberating on the risk of going home to Stockholm for Christmas. The statistics on air travel are dismal, and cases in Europe are rising again, so it may be Nala & me for Christmas. A lot of people I know who have traveled have already had COVID or caught it traveling so I’m like yikes. What strange time, truly.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
