Just wanted to make a quick post about a tv segment I was invited to take part in by Shop It To Me while in New York. It was a “Back to School” segment for Better TV and was a very different experience for me than my normal forays into the world of tv/movies. I’ve been an extra in both tv and film before and we’re usually told not to look at the camera. For this segment all I had to do was look at the camera. I also got the chance to step outside of my style zone and try something I wouldn’t normally wear with my “Borrowed from the Boys” ensemble. What do you think of it?

Also Shop It To Me is holding a contest this week where you can win a designer bag or a designer shoe, your choice! Which would you pick? I think I would go for the Christian Louboutin’s. They’re really cute and classic. You have to be a member of their sale personal shopping site to qualify. If you’re not already I have to ask…um why not?! I live for their emails every day. I’ve scored Dolce Vita’s at less than $25, seen the ever popular J Brand candy colored shorts for $70…it’s exhilarating trying to rush to get that discounted item before it sells out due to the amazing price. Who wouldn’t want to be notified when their favorite designer items go on sale.

Hey! You did great modeling the boyfriend look- it’s actually a really great look on you. The bag is awesome. My favorite, besides the 70s look which I styled exactly like that about 2 posts ago, is the gym class look. I like the big comfy sweater over a mini skirt. Oh, and I love Shop It To Me! 🙂
