Grand Opening: Lorie Lester Boutique

Recently I attended the grand opening of designer Lorie Lester‘s boutique previously seen here. I had a lot of fun, the boutique is super chic and also serves as her design studio in the back and side portions of the space. In the design area you can see a huge mood board full of inspiration photos and fabrics and patterns etc. Lorie wore a dress of her own design that night. I’d definitely love to get my hands on it, I know there’s a short version of it but I definitely prefer the maxi style version. The cool part about purchasing from the boutique is if you need an alteration it can be done right there.

I met up with Carolina but also ended up running into Andrea who I know from Twitter (lol), and also Sarah the model I’d worked with the day before. She didn’t recognize me right away because I didn’t have purple hair the day I worked with her, but she recognized the shirt/hat I was wearing because it was a pull for the shoot I did with her that I decided to keep for myself. Oops. After the boutique started getting super packed and I’d spoken to/taken the photo of pretty much everyone I’d wanted to Carolina and I went to Chophouse Miami near her apartment for a few drinks. So absolutely delicious. Took a picture of some of the things we ordered, we definitely couldn’t eat all the calamari and the scallop sliders we were brought but we gave it our best effort haha.
