I am still on the fence about this collection. Even after seeing the full lookbook and the video I still don’t know how I feel. I think I definitely need to see the pieces in person to judge quality etc. Dresses range from $149 to $249, all women’s shoes are $99, and women’s coats are $149 to $349. I’ll say that I’m disappointed in the price points because after all it is H&M and this stuff will more than likely fall apart after awhile. It seems that the majority of the items I’m digging are in the $199+ category.
This is the cheapest clothing item that catches my interest. $49.95
Jacket $149
Dress $199
Dress $199
Dress $199
Coat $199
The last two dresses are questionable to me for fabric reasons. I mean if I was going somewhere that warranted me wearing this style dress my go to wouldn’t be H&M. I think I may end up passing on this collection, but like I said I’m undecided. What do you guys think?

Love the faux fur jacket. The dresses are surely cute and poofy and adorable (I had my eye on the yellow and pink one too!) and I would love to have maybe one. But I think that I will never get to touch one being that I will be at work when the madness happens. I’m also not looking to drop $200 at H&M on one item. I mean that can all change if I see it in person but in my head it doesn’t add up just yet :) The shoes are no good and the jewelry is somewhat cute but not my thing even though they are really cheap…but those will be the things that people get just to get a lanvin x h&m piece haha.
I love a lot of the pieces.. but the quality of fabric etc needs to be there if they are charging those prices. I love the yellow dress.
I already know that I’m going to be passing on this collection for the prices alone. The first solid pink dress that you posted looks amazing on the model, but those types of silhouettes tend to make me look really fat. The yellow dress’ cut looks way too much like a bajillion forever21 dresses that I saw when I worked there. I love all the jackets, but you know I’m not anywhere where I can drop $150 for a jacket especially when I already own jackets…then again the fur ones look really warm. Hmm.
Anyways, I have a feeling that brand whores will be mobbing all the local H&Ms any way and no one will get a chance to actually see anything IRL.
I was so excited to see the “H&M x Lanvin”! But it doesn’t seem kind of my type. I like the faux fur jacket on second photo though:)
I love Alber Elbaz’s work at Lanvin. I love that H&M attempts to bring luxury to the masses. The designs are great since some of them are indeed Lanvin replicas but at that price point and for the quality, I don’t much fancy standing in line for hours only to end up at a party where 5 other girls are wearing the same dress as I am. With the styling and photography here, things look appealing but up close and personal? Questionable.
Too Expensive! I rather go to Zara lol!
i hear what you are saying. that yellow is a beautiful color, but i agree, if you needed to get that fancy, perhaps h&m, shouldn’t be your go to store. but on the other hand if that’s what’s in your budget it’s a good option. the rest of the collection is not doing it for me…
I love the jacket and the coat! So very cute :)
