Til Next Time Long Beach, California

Wrapping up my trip to Long Beach with the Visit Long Beach with my last batch of photos. Mornings in bed at the Hyatt Centric trying to get work done before the start of the day, to evening gondola rides. It’s all here.

Can’t remember if I mentioned it in my last post but the Hyatt Centric has some super comfy beds. Instead of working at the desk in the room, I definitely opted to work in bed. I never got room service because we always had breakfast as a group scheduled. My favorite breakfast spot had to be The Breakfast Bar. We went on a backstage vip tour of the Aquarium of the Pacific, so cool getting to see the inner workings of the aquarium. We got our culture on in official capacities at the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Latin American Museum of Art. I got a bit of exercise AND culture riding around Long Beach to visit the POW! WOW! murals. Long Beach is pretty bike friendly.

I also went paddleboarding, there are quite a few options for water activities. Even though I’ve been paddleboarding twice now, I was so nervous this time around. Our instructor was the best I’ve ever had and I learned things I hadn’t before. Things that made things so much easier! I even stood up a couple of times for photos but they didn’t take. At least I got that one shot kneeling.

Our gondola ride came as the last activity on the trip before dinner. It was kind of sad knowing this was our last hurrah. The team had wine and cheese on board for us and we just laughed sooooo much. I think it may have been my favorite activity. It’s a great activity for close interaction plus our gondoliers were awesome. I miss those laughs for sure. I’m glad I have all these photos and my saved snapchat videos to reminisce on the experience.
