Well this is new…I’m using my blog to procrastinate instead of using other things to procrastinate posting on my blog. Oops.
So in the process of packing and moving, I stumbled on some modeling discs of pictures/outtakes of different photographers/shoots. These in particular are from a period of time (age 20-21 I guess) when I was a regular model for adorevintage.com I didn’t get paid much but it was exciting because I was new to modeling and I got to be featured on a really cool webstore every week. The owner Rodellee was super sweet and cute and could totally model everything herself and sometimes did when she was short on models or when we new models just weren’t doing an outfit justice.
Working for AV will have a special place in my heart, I met Jessie Dee there and we became friends and are still in contact three years later. Weird to quantify our friendship, now in addition to modeling which she still does occasionally she’s a wonderful makeup artist that I work with pretty regularly and a excellent retoucher. Rodellee introduced me to fashion in a different way than I’d ever thought of it and I guess you could say things kinda started there for me.
FYI: These are all unedited or outtakes.
Loved the clothes, there was always something I wanted to take home. Hated the shoes, they were always vintage and therefore in size ranges of 6 & 7’s. Not comfortable at all for my size 8 feet. It’s kinda funny but at the time the poses Rodellee was always instructing us to do are now so common/made fun of in the blogging world and if I knew what I knew now I’d have taken direction so much better haha.
