Or at least it seems when I put on an amazing pair of false eyelashes. These Shu Uemura Mini Star Glitz False Eyelashes are a favorite. I think mini lashes are the perfect way to learn to apply falsies. I’m no makeup guru (as evident by my uneven/needs more blending makeup job) etc but I can put these on myself pretty easily. It’s not always a perfect application but I get the look I want. I love bright colored makeup, because I don’t wear too much anywhere else so I like to make my eyes pop. I wore this look with this outfit if you’re curious.

I’m probably going to order a few more lashes from Shu Uemura this week along with their brand adhesive. The ones I’m ordering are more regular wear lashes. I want something that will make me feel glamorous that I can use on a daily basis.
If I’m making a weird face sorry haha, I was trying to get a good shot of the makeup in my lobby before my neighbors rolled through.

mini sets are easier to use than full sets of false lashes but I’ve found that over time full sets get easier to put on. I wear them everyday and it takes about 10 seconds to get them on! At first it was more like 10 minutes…

i think your eyelashes are great Ria! definitely makes sense to do these small ones and then work your way up–especially for someone like me…i’ve only done falsies once ever!
