My Snapchat followers all know I’m in a never-ending battle to tame my hair. The lovely people at Dermstore sent over Texture Tame for me to take a crack at it. Texture Tame is an at home 3-step treatment to permanently remove frizz and leave your hair smooth, silky and manageable. I did the 3-step process on Snapchat one late night meaning to post it all here as well. Eliminate, Moisture Lock and finally Finish. I failed on saving the content and you know how it goes with snapchat…24 hours and it’s gone. I did save a few shots and of course, the change in my hair has been noticeable.
I’m wary of putting chemicals and things in my hair because I’m natural. Texture Tame is free of the toxic chemicals found in most salon straightening or smoothing treatments. Another concern of mine is destroying my natural curl pattern. That happens with most straightening treatments. My hair is super coarse yet I experienced a change in smoothness without sacrificing my hair’s natural body, wave, or curl pattern. I can go longer between blowouts, even a crappy blowout still manages to look good. Pre-Texture Tame, I could not suffer a bad blowout. It simply could not pass it off and would have to have it redone immediately.Confession time, I don’t wash my hair myself, it’s just too overwhelming. This is part of the reason it’s taken me so long to try this product. I’ve had it since November or December and tried it in January. I knew I’d have to wash my hair myself and just the thought was exhausting. My hair is coarse, yet thin and there’s just so much of it. Since doing the Texture Tame process, I’ve washed my hair myself twice. That’s a huge deal for me. I feel it’s more manageable and I can achieve a wearable look on my own, whereas before Texture Tame there was no way.
Start your journey to permanently eliminating frizz with 30% off! You’re welcome.
