My first show for Funkshion Fashion Week at The Setai Hotel in Miami was Krelwear. I had a lot of fun going backstage and shooting the hair and makeup because it was so exceptional. I love the butterflies and flowers in the firls hair. Some of the models scattered flowers on the runway and threw some into the audience. It was a very light hearted atmosphere. The show opened with a dancer dancing down the runway and she continued to dance at the sides of the runway all throughout the show. In the beginning she was also accompanied by a large man dressed as a Faun. After all the theme was Flora & Fauna. I was adjusting my camera for the show lighting so I don’t have share-worthy pictures of them.

I took a rushed video during the final walk. Forgive me as I didn’t think (1st time using the function) and snapped two photos while it was recording causing a stutter in the video each time I snapped.
I’m told this is Karelle Levy’s last showing for awhile which is a shame, because I really liked her pieces. They are so funky and care-free. I’m not the only fan (obviously), check out Ms. Nicki Minaj (who I am a huge fan of) wearing a Krel piece. Totally envious. I’d definitely like to get my hands on a piece.
