I had the best Art Basel I’ve had in the last couple of years this past December. I took a more chill approach to events, instead of saying yes to and going to every installation or party. It’s super easy to stretch yourself thin during Art Basel and you end up exhausted just in time for the holidays. Not wise. So I focused on things that aligned more with me and also my location versus travel time/traffic. Did I leave Miami Beach often? Nope, I picked my battles with traffic and kept my stress levels WAY down. One of my favorite of these selected events was a Beefeater Gin brunch I attended at Juvia.
Juvia is a beautiful location already and Beefeater Gin fit right in with the setting. I loved the tablescape so much, they did so well. From the candy, to the accoutrements that we could add to our cocktails, and Instax cameras it was all perf. Love when I can take home a physical memory from an event and Instax’s are my fave even though I keep losing the cameras. #help
The cocktails were delicious, working on this post I’m now in the mood for another. Good thing, we got a couple bottles to take home in our gift bags. My bar cart looks great with my Beefeater Gin bottles, one even has my name on it so you know it’s legit. Have you tried Beefeater Gin yet?
I wore my Acne Studios Suit Set I picked up at the Acne Archive in Stockholm. If you’re a fan of Acne, I recommend checking out an Archive store whenever you get the chance. It’s all past season or sample stuff etc but the prices are so good. I think this set was originally released in February 2019. I got it at the Archive in August. I love this set not just because of the comfort level and pockets but because it’s a set! Sets are my fave as you know. You can wear em together or separate and create a whole new vibe and I love that. Always feels like I’m getting more bang for my buck that way.
