Venturing up to Fort Lauderdale doesn’t happen too often now that I live in South Beach and no longer own a car. But I’ll always love a visit to W Fort Lauderdale. It’s one of the best things about Fort Lauderdale. I love this beachfront property, especially since its renovation.
Their wet deck looks more luxe than ever and I’ll always love that you can see the ocean from the rooftop. The rooms feature lush views of the ocean, the wet deck, or the intercoastal. There are some seriously nice room options, promise you’ll feel very glam.
There are also new dining options, like the Mexican restaurant El Vez. The third location in the US. We had a delicious little brunch there with everything you could possibly want. We didn’t indulge but they have a vast tequila section, which I’ll have to come back for.
W Fort Lauderdale is definitely one of my favorite staycation spots here in SoFl. It’s great to get out of Miami every now and then ya know but sometimes you don’t always have the luxury of time to go too far. Or in my case, a staycation decision happens very last minute.
