This Wildfox 90s Face Seattle Turtleneck Sweater is a few years old. It totally takes me back to different time in my style. I decided to wear this piece to reminisce and let it go. It was a little expensive as most Wildfox Couture pieces are, but it was a splurge I was happy to make. It’s hard for me to let go of stuff in my closet. I know I’m not wearing this enough and yet I’m like well…maybe…
Ignoring the fact that Miami is in an almost constant state of summer, I don’t wear this too much even when it’s cold. We’ve had a colder than usual winter this year, and I’ve found myself reaching for sweaters more. I’ve worn this one 3 times. It’s time to let this baby go to a new home I think. While I’m still making this face, it’s the actual sweater I seem to have outgrown. I don’t think I need the sweater when my face says it all. That’s the thing about purchasing non classic, trendy items or statement pieces. It may take a few years but soon enough you no longer want to make the same statement you did when you bought the piece.
Since moving to a smaller apartment, I actually lay eyes on my stuff instead of it squirreling it away. So I’ve been downsizing quite a bit. I think I might be a bit of a hoarder, but not like the scary kind on the show Hoarders. I’m working on it. Thank goodness for services like Poshmark. I’m listing this up on my account this week. I know this sweater will bring someone a lot of joy like it did to me. If you’re so inclined you can shop my closet here.

It’s so hard to get rid of stuff, especially clothes. I’m sentimental! So even if it doesn’t fit, or it’s totally worn out, I still hold on to it for about a year too long xD Clothing swaps have been a great way to overcome it though, I like knowing my beloved clothes are going to a friend.
