What’s Going On?

I just got back from a super quick trip to Boston. Literally got in Friday went straight to work and then left Monday morning. It was my first time there and I absolutely loved it. I need to go back and enjoy more of Chinatown and hit up Newbury St (which I purposely avoided on the one tiny opportunity I had to go on Sunday). I didn’t take enough pictures to warrant a post unfortunately. :/

I just wanted to make this post to kinda say what I’m doing this week since it’s gonna be so hectic. Yesterday I blogged my interview with designer Viviana G of Petit Pois so if you’re looking for a real entry make sure you check that out.

Tonight was the start of an event here in Miami called Funkshion Fashion Week. This will be taking over my life for the next few days. They were kind enough to provide me with a press pass. I took a lot of photos tonight at the opening party/fashion show for knitwear brand Krel. Great models and great pieces. Can’t wait to show you guys. Thursday, Friday & Saturday there will be more shows. I’m most excited for Friday I think. Sunday I’ll be skipping because I have a photoshoot booked (styling).

I still have to finish whittling down the photos I took at the Sassy City Chicks (I narrowed it to 58, I need less than that haha) event and post about that experience. I left my ring I bought there in Boston at breakfast. The hotel has told me they’re mailing it to me I really hope that’s the case. It’s already a favorite.

Saturday if you’re not heading to the shows. You should go check out the ShoppSwagg event at the Seminole Hard Rock’s Pangaea Lounge & Gryphon Nightclub. If I could be in two places at once, I’d be snapping up this invite. I’ve heard amazing things about this particular Hard Rock and combine that with shopping. I’m still wavering.
