While I was in New York, I was annoyingly adamant about seeing Maya Hayuk’s installation at the Bowery Mural on Bowery and Houston. The colors are so vivid and I love the drip. I barely had time left on my last day but I managed to squeeze it in on Emily’s lunch break. It’s really a beautiful site to see on the corner. We quickly snapped a few shots and then ducked into the nearest Starbucks to warm up and hustle back to work. I had a flight to catch back to Miami in a few short hours. I’m glad I made the time, though I wish I could have taken a little more care and time to put an outfit together and take shots.
I wore this look for comfort and warmth. I knew I had to run around the city to various showrooms and meetings and then dash back to my friend Elana’s to head to LaGuardia airport. It wasn’t as hectic as it could have been and I ended up having ample time at the airport because there was no traffic. I know had I stopped by what would have been my last stop at the Panasonic Beauty Bar, it would have invoked Murphy’s Law and I’d have ended up missing my flight or something.

I’m glad you were adamant of seeing that mural and also of taking pictures there, they turned out great.
