The Invis-shoe…

I’m not really sure when I turned into a shoe girl, sometime after my brief love affair with designer sunglasses I guess. But shoes are pretty much my primary love right now. Even more so than clothes. I buy more shoes than clothes. I have two pairs of shoes en route to me now (both thanks to Christine my one true love ya’ll). One pair at a friends house that I haven’t even worn/bothered to go pick up though I’m madly in love with them, and two I’ve never even worn. I don’t know who or what is to blame but there’s just something about a well designed quality shoe that makes my heart race. Just the idea of wearing them is exciting.

When I layed eyes on these concept shoes pictured above by Andreia Chaves I definitely did a head tilt. I mean basically they’re wedges with mirrors on them and I realize it’s horribly impractical but I kinda wanna put them on my feet. Not for like regular wear or use or anything but just for the novelty of it. I love the angles and shapes the mirrors create. It’s very interesting.

I can’t wait till my other shoes arrive to show them off. Is it silly that the ones that are a Christmas present I actually wanna wrap and put under the tree even though I totally know what they are and they’ll be here before Christmas…sigh I won’t though because I’ll be too excited to wear them and I will in all likelihood prance around like a hyper active child in them when they arrive. P.S. – It’s almost 5 am and I have to be at work at 10 am…why do I do this to myself. Oh yeah because I have bad sleeping habits and when I have to open it throws off my whole life but it’s better than closing.
