STANDARD FORM, Cut From A Different Cloth

STANDARD FORM sent over this upcycled denim poncho and as the first cool breeze hit Miami, I draped it over my body. Let’s go! STANDARD FORM promotes a subtle sense of fusion. The idea of integrity, harmony and coherence in a crafted product. The comfort of an iconic vintage denim jacket reworked into a poncho is brilliant. It helps that vintage Levi’s denim evokes a traditional Americana aesthetic.

This isn’t a sponsored post, nor was this piece gifted. I think this poncho is remarkable. People couldn’t say enough about its uniqueness. People who had never spoken to me at church used it as a conversation starter. I love the weight of this piece because of the denim, it feels like home. The flow of the hand-loomed silk-cotton provides both warmth and freedom.

Since I can’t DIY, I can’t wait to see these release Spring 2016. So devastated to have to return this. Haha this is why I don’t often accept samples that need returning. I get way too attached.
