Since I’m traveling at the moment (currently in California) I’ve been reminiscing on all the traveling I’ve done this year. I can’t believe I haven’t documented some of it on the blog. Such a shame. I’ve been incredibly fortunate this year. From the usual NYFW trips to New York City, to living there for a few months, to Orlando, to Detroit, to San Francisco and more it’s been a whirlwind year. This is embarrassing but I’m in LA now and Foursquare tells me I was last here in Feb and I cannot remember why *_*
My favorite excursion this year has been London hands down. It was my first time there and I got to see my mom (she lives in Sweden), whom I hadn’t seen in a couple of years. Crazy right. So glad she’s coming home for Christmas this year. After our first night in London partying til dawn and doing some damage at the Chanel boutique we decided to relax on a tour on the River Thames. Our hotel The Savoy overlooks the river and has a private pier. With a bottle of champagne we embarked on our ride.
After our ride we headed to lunch at Le Pont de La Tour a lovely french restaurant. The oysters were divine, the lobster absolute heaven…we may or may not have ordered a second round and the Rosé flowed. We topped off the meal with dessert. I chose the Valrhona milk chocolate mousse with dark chocolate crumble and salted caramel ice cream. I died and came back to life it was so good.
