Super casual lunch with a group of guy friends calls for minimal makeup and casual styling (jeans and a tank). I can’t do without a bright lip though, this from the girl who years ago never wore lipstick. Can’t imagine life without it now. Revlon Lip Butters are a must for every lipstick-loving gal. If you don’t own a tube you’re behind. I’ve got like 3 and my last makeup artist had several in her kit and was really excited when she saw I had this one. We even ended up using it on the video shoot we were working on AND she wrote down the color name so she could pick it up. I’ve got a good eye you guys.
The roots of my hair are in dire need of moisture and a relaxer but I’m trying to hold out. Hair accessories help me look really put together when my hair is not on my side. This Otrera scarf is huge like I could wear it as a wrap skirt if I wanted and I just might actually. The blue/purple (debatable) is rich and the print is really unique with the “evil eye” symbol sprinkled throughout and phrases like “I’m still not calling my ex”. I’m so into the “evil eye” symbol after Matt’s mom told me about it and gave me a charm. Here’s hoping this little beauty brings me some protection.
Sorry I didn’t shoot my whole outfit, lunch awaited. Thanks to Mattie’s “7 Ways to Wear a Head Scarf” video. I knew I wanted this on my head but didn’t know how to go about it. Her vid set me straight. I’ll be trying some other looks.
