I’m so excited to share these photos. It was my first time shooting with Shane and I was an hour late (crazy hectic, scatter brain day) and he was a total saint about it. It was my first time shooting my blonde hair. I was gonna see Ai Weiwei‘s work in person. I think Shane and I work really well together. Shane shoots with both his iPhone (see a few iPhone shots below) and his camera, which is new for me but it’s really cool because I always get something for Instagram. Even though we’ve only done two shoots, I feel like I can trust what I’m going to get from him without even looking at the shots as we go.
With all the cold weather Miami has been getting, the cardigans I received from Sosie have been coming in so handy. I love how warm this one. When I initially picked out the one you see in these photos and the Safari Times Cardigan (if you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen it) I thought I’m probably never going to get to wear these outdoors in Miami but they’ll definitely be good for traveling. Little did I know what Mother Nature had in store for me.
Everlane…EVERLANE. I want to shout it from the rooftops. A 100% brushed silk blouse for $80. You read that correctly. I love this blouse and I want one in EVERY color they make. It’s a wardrobe staple. I’m picking it up from the dry cleaners today and I can’t wait to be reunited with it. Expect to see it again during New York Fashion Week.
