Phew! I’ve shot this dress THREE times. So here’s the scoop, I picked up and went to New York for a few months and Sway Chic sent me this lovely dress but I had already departed for NYC. As soon as I got back from NYC, I had to leave for Novi, Michigan so I wore the dress to the airport and shot it as soon as we got to the hotel. Somehow there was a memory card mishap and the photos are lost forever. I don’t realize this however until I go to shoot the dress again, when looking at the test shot I have a sense of deja vu…oh yeah I shot this in MI. There were a lot of feelings about how this could happen…when really who cares…so the shoot got nixed. Flash forward to this weekend and I was DETERMINED to shoot this dress, I mean it’s so cute.
We shot this in my condo’s courtyard, nothing fancy. The print of this dress is so fun and I’m a big fan of the skater silhouette. They are generally so comfy, that’s why I was able to wear this exact outfit to the airport (minus the jewelry). This dress is no exception, the fabric is light and there’s adjustable corsetting on the sides. What does that spell, a great summer dress. I’d also like to share with you guys is Tevin Vincent who makes my absolute favorite necklace (nsfw?).
