The Perfect Getaway Vehicle

New favorite alert. So I loved the Kia K900, because it’s hella luxurious…but so is this Kia Sorento. This is a car I would never have thought twice about. I teamed up with Kia to promote and attend the Miami Auto Show and I’m so glad they chose this car. Everyone that got in it adored it. It feels luxurious, it handles like a dream. It’s tagged as “The perfect getaway vehicle” and I can’t argue. It’s perfect.

On first glance you’re like wow it’s huge. Yet it doesn’t feel huge. The camera/park assist system isn’t like anything I’ve ever seen. I’ve never parked a car better in my life. The Surround View Monitor (SVM) controls four mounted cameras, giving a birds-eye view of the vehicle. The front and rear parking assists use sonar sensors integrated in the bumpers to warn for collision. Obsessed is putting it mildly.

Blind spot detection is lit as usual. I feel like that should be a safety standard for everyone. The cruise control on this car is pretty new to me too. The car is pretty much driving itself at this point haha. It slows down when the person in front of you slows, speeds up etc. Technology man, my head is spinning.

Remember the days when I shook off the idea of getting a Kia Soul. Now I love every single Kia I’ve ever driven. Here’s another to the growing list. At the Miami Auto Show, I saw talk of a convertible Kia…oh man, oh man drake voice it’s LIT.
