I’m an extensive wishlist maker. I’ve been at it since I was a kid. I would receive Delia’s and Alloy etc catalogs in the mail and highlight everything I wanted. Sometimes I’d even add up the totals of everything I liked and write the number on the front of the catalog. Hey! I was an only child don’t judge my fun. I may not save catalogs anymore but I still am heavy into the wishlist making. It gives me great satisfaction to buy something off my wishlist. Even better when a brand sends me something I was wishing for. Work perks!
So I’m going to start sharing some of the things I’m interested in purchasing here on the blog. Things that are sitting in my various shopping carts all over the web. Whether that be fashion, beauty, skincare, or home goodies. I’m an equal opportunity wisher, I want everything.
To kick things off I’m in a denim mindset at the moment and Forever 21 is a great go to for a flash in the pan fashion mood. You know when you’re into something at the moment but you’re not sure about sustainability. Am I gonna be feeling distressed denim skirts this hard 3 weeks from now…who knows. Great way to test the waters is to go affordable before you invest in a piece that ends up sitting in your closet.
I’m still into bomber jackets to be honest and this one is still at the top of my list. This is a trend that hasn’t gone anywhere at least for me so I know I can go pricier with my next purchase. I’ve always been a hat girl and it’s taken me a long time to come around on the beret/sailor/driver hats but I’m here now. Freshly over the “you look like a girl scout” (due to some really bad styling) thoughts I’ve finally decided I need one.
I showcase a lot of the skincare products I get in the mail on my Instagram stories. While talking masks one day, someone dm’d me about this Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask. It was already on my wishlist but now it’s urgent! She sent me a video of the consistency and detailed her experience with the mask and I’m sold.
There are a few other beauty and skincare knick knacks thrown in there and then we get to home. So I won a $100 gift card in a sweepstakes (I love entering those too) and I’m going to use it to snag this bar cart. This is my one free pass since I have a gift card. I’ve one for entirely too long and that’s sort of very blogger of me but I also just want my counter space back. I’ve got all my bottles and bar tools taking up space on my already limited kitchen counter. I can’t wait.
My boyfriend loves candles and I love these Voluspa candles for our cozy nights in. We love a lazy night in lol. Ok so my flatware pick….I don’t know why I’m obsessed with these Fortessa utensils but I am. The design just makes my eyes go all hearts. I saw them on instagram many many years ago and googled like a mad person til I found them. The person who posted them didn’t tag them…RUDE. I have 2 sets but I want a full “I have guests” set. My boyfriend hates them and I don’t care to be clear.
