While in London we had the pleasure of attending a private dinner at Annabel’s for Chateau Palmer & Louis XIII Cognac. The menu went something like pigeon, lobster, veal etc. All the plates were expertly paired with Chateau Palmer wines. It was absolutely divine. We established that I have expensive taste as my favorite of the wines was the last one a 1990 Bordeaux blend red. 😛
I wore a lace BCBG MaxAzria Runway dress with strappy Christian Louboutin sandals. I matched the heels to the tan lining of the lace dress. With my trusty Saint Laurent envelope clutch, I was ready for an evening of fine wine and cognac. Sorry my photo of the cognac is so blurry, Annabel’s is like Soho House one of those no photo zones so the lighting is not exactly conducive to photography. This is a $30,000 bottle of alcohol. Let THAT sink in. Needless to say it was intense.
