I do quite a bit that doesn’t always end up on the blog for whatever reason. That’s why following me on instagram (@riamichelle) is the best way to keep up with all of the adventures blogging takes me on. I’m gonna try to do a quick recap of some things I’ve done over the past few months that have been pretty cool. Above the Furla team took a few of us Miami bloggers to the Furla store at The Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables. The store had recently been remodeled and it’s such a beautiful space. After each picking out our very own bag, we went to brunch! I was so happy to have finally gotten my hands on a Candy bag. Now I want more more more.

I went to a Clarins event at Dadeland mall. I don’t often make the trek to Dadeland because it’s pretty far south for me. The mall is very impressive though. Clarins solved that issue by providing me car service to the event. We still got caught in traffic but I made it just in time to hear Clarins brand ambassador Christopher Truffa explain the products and teach us how to use them. Little did I know they’d be gifting us with the items we’d just learned about. Above you can see the products I was lucky enough to receive. I want to do some YouTube stuff with them so I have to actually start using them. I know they’re going to make a huge difference in my beauty routine.
- A bit of a lost file from the Maldives. We discovered a treasure trove of Luli Fama cover ups at the gift shop of our resort and despite packing sufficient cover ups, we had to buy these and more.

Relax SPA invited me to try out a JetPeel Hydro-Infusion Facial. A very interesting experience. The JetPeel uses oxygen and infused serums to exfoliate deep into the dermal layer of the skin which improves the overall tone, texture, clarity and firmness of the skin. I had a nice glow going after and I’d love to do this again sometime. Here’s more information on the whole process. I love that they will custom tailor the vitamin infusions to what your specialist feels your skin is most in need of. Very personalized experience. It’s really important to start skin care at an early age so you have less to do when your body starts betraying you haha.

At the Colgate Optic White Beauty Bar besides getting a little mid-day treat of getting my nails and makeup done, I received wait for it…toothpaste. This is pretty much the only whitening toothpaste I’ve ever used that I actually see results promptly. It’s a process though. You brush your teeth, then you use the gel, then you use the mouthwash (which tastes a little funny if you’re used to Listerine) but the results are very impressive.

I had a little brunch with the Jergens team at Soho Beach House and learned about their new BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream and their new Shea Beauty Oil. I’ve already started using the Shea Oil and I love the way it illuminates my skin. I’ll keep you guys posted when I start using the BB Body stuff, as it promises 5 visible results in 5 days. That’ll probably end up on YouTube as well.
Before dinner with the Swarovski team, I popped into Marysol Patton’s Friends Fun Wine launch party at the Delano Hotel on South Beach. I’m partial to the Sangria flavors, the Rosé Moscato and the White Moscato. I took them to hang with some friends poolside and it was perfect. They’re very light, it took me about two and a half cans to get a nice buzz going. They’re best ice-cold. We had a glass bottle of water poolside and someone complained about us having glass by the pool (ew get a life) so I like that these drinks are cans so nobody can say anything. They’re totally portable and safe for any location.
Martha Dominguez & Peace Love World‘s Alina Villasante
Last but certainly not least, I finally got to check out Peace Love World. Alina Villasante the designer and force behind the brand held an editor preview at her amazing home. She is so sweet and full of great energy as you’d expect of the designer of such a happy brand. She dished with us on what was coming down the pipeline for Peace Love World, her experiences when things don’t go as planned but end up working out because you work with what you have. The Summer 2014 collection is really great, and I can see myself in quite a bit of it actually. In the meantime, you can check out their latest offerings here. Hope you enjoyed this little recap post, let me know if you’re into inclusive posts like this.
