Today I styled a shoot for Filthy Magic with American models. Hooray. Diversity. Not only were they American models but they had hips and thighs etc. I love these girls. Such fun. Well I arrived to the Jessie D doing Kayte’s makeup and started prepping the clothings. Then we got the message that our scheduled photographer’s grandfather was sent to hospital and she wouldn’t be able to make it. Oh noes. So we continued on our respective duties while trying to find a replacement.
Oh and there was lots of playing with accessories and shoes. We are women after all.
Well we ended up with two photographers. Troy and Tiffany. Both so amazing and wonderful to work with and both talented. Julie arrived and our makeup artist did double duty as a model as well. That is how she started after all. We went to a couple different locations and did several quick changes trying to beat the light.
By the time Tiffany’s time was up we were exhausted but still decided to take a few more frames with Troy until dark anyway. There’s never been a night shoot for FM before so I’m curious to see how that works out.
