Taking a break from all the event posting which is all well and good and for sure will continue but it’s nice to have a non Florida specific post. These pics are from my business trip to Boston back in October. Boston was the most fun I’ve had traveling for work in awhile. The city was so crisp and felt so young despite being so old & historic. A necessary break from Florida I think. It was kind of cold but the nice kind of cold where you get to layer and dress well and you’re happy about it. It’s currently that kind of cold in Florida right now but it just feels wrong here and though I’m having fun dressing in layers and cute coats I’m still complaining the entire time about it being too cold haha.
My boss, Matt, Clare Kramer and her sister (who I’d just met so I can’t remember her name. I’m terrible.) all went out to dinner one night at this great Japanese place. I tried different things I’d normally never go near, like cow tongue and sashimi and didn’t gag. That’s some sort of miracle for this picky eater. I’ve decided that if I have to eat sushi, I prefer sashimi over rolls. My bf and I also went over to China town on our last night and had absolutely delicious Chinese food and bubble tea. Since moving to Miami area we’ve had to give up on bubble tea. I don’t know where to find it down here unfortunately, but I’m still looking.

oh man I’m sad you can’t find bubble tea in Miami. If you ever visit NYC, I’ll take ya to this one place in flushing Queens that has “popioca” which is flavored bubbles! I hear it’s not available most places yet. This sounds like a fun getaway. Right now it’s 30 degrees in NY and it’s close for it to be not cute+cold weather 🙁 when it hits maybe 15 degrees, my down coat comes out. even though it’s slightly stylish (I tried), I am not looking forward to it.

How did you like Boston? I’m totally jealous that you hung out with Clare Kramer because she was one of my favorite bad guys on Buffy. I’m such a fan! Love the last photo of you too.
