Before meeting Brian Atwood, I met Rebecca Minkoff. Having several memory cards can sometimes work against you timeline wise when it’s time to blog. I really enjoyed my experience meeting Rebecca because it was really intimate. It was a daytime affair and I arrived early enough to be the first arrival. I was having a shy day but Rebecca was totally sweet, and we casually chatted about online shopping, ipad flaws etc.
She also showed me her different pieces that our Bloomingdales stocks. Told me a bit about the design and the different trends she was incorporating in her latest pieces. I absolutely love the bag pictured above. I don’t see it on the website anymore but they have a hobo bag with similar leopard cut outs. I think the idea of doing a “animal print” but with cut outs is brilliant. So perfect for someone who is a little iffy about animal prints.
Here’s another favorite the Jane. I think it’s so classic looking while still having that edge that I crave in everything I wear. I also love the light gray coloring. Below the Jane bag you can see the gift with purchase for that day. P.S. Rebecca says don’t expect a slow down in blogger giveaways because they love doing those. So keep trying your luck, I know I will be.
