So I’m still getting settled in my new apartment. I’m focused on purchasing things I LOVE even if that means I have to wait to buy them. Baker Furniture invited me to their newly remodeled DCOTA showroom and I jumped at the chance. I’m obsessed with looking at furniture and home stuff now. Showrooms are fun because you get to see everything laid out and get a sense of aesthetic.
Not only did I come away with some good ideas for my new place, I mingled with designer Thomas Pheasant. I scored a monogrammed leather business card holder from Heist and ate every dessert in sight. All in all a good shindig.
