My second look for New York Fashion Week was really all about this great skirt from Front Row Shop. The material is so different from anything I own, while still being extremely lightweight. It didn’t lose its shape after being in my luggage, it just springs right back into shape. I paired it with my favorite sweater from Cheap Monday. I wear this thing to death…anytime I go anywhere that calls for a sweater it comes with me. That basically means I need to buy more sweaters.
How do you stay warm during a polar vortex? Fur (thank you Martha) apparently and these awesome convertible tights from Hanes. They’re thick enough so I don’t have to layer them and you can choose whether or not your foot is covered or not with the convertible footie. I had another pair of boots packed for this look but these Hanne boots were the best option for the snow/ice as they have the best traction in the front. I had NO plans to faceplant into the ground thank you very much.
Erika and I went to the VOGUE’s Runway Retreat for a break from the cold, champagne, light bites. Thanks to Joe Schildhorn for taking our photos! We got to preview Brahmin’s new spring collection and take some fun photos that ended up on my instagram (@riamichelle). Be sure to follow me!
