I recently decided that I want to change my hair. This is what my hair looks like right now. I had a keratin treatment provided by the fine folks at Kerapure. They sent me a treatment and I had my new stylist Jael apply it. My hair has been a total dream ever since. It’s soft, manageable and has an amazing sheen to it. Everyone loves it. I totally recommend this over a relaxer. I also had Jael cut my hair as well. I love it. There’s another change in the works but I’m keeping that under wraps for now.
I love this skirt so much. I want to wear it with everything. I’ve had it paired in my head with every top that has come into sight since I got it. It pretty much goes with anything.
Sorry these pictures are kind of grainy but this was a quick and dirty shoot in my kitchen after a disappointing night out. What a waste of an outfit I absolutely adored. I serious had a bad lunch/dinner think cold mediocre food, followed by an event that wasn’t up to expectations. My friend and I tried to save the day by hitting up Chili’s for their 2 for 1 drinks and the bar was packed and there was a wait to be seated. After that we just called it a night.

Oooh! Your hair is so cute. Your bangs are lovely. I reeeeally like that top and I love that skirt, too. Cold and mediocre? That’s very unfortunate!

LOVE the new hair. I have been debating cutting mine all off for a while now. I want blunt ends everywhere. That skirt is adorbs too, no wonder you can’t stop wearing it!
joselin
that skirt rules!
im a fan of your hair straight, both ways are pretty <3
Ria
joselinYeah I like straight hair too but there’s a charm to curly done correctly. I just can’t get what I want without putting in a ton of work so I’m over it. I’m also over my boyfriend telling me I look like a gypsy with curly hair lol.

i think your hair looks great like this. i had something very similar done to my hair for my college graduation–loved it. so much better than a relaxer (i haven’t relaxed my hair in like 5 years!
i really like that meow top too and those wedges! i have to get those. 🙂
Ria
Oh to Be a MuseI haven’t relaxed my hair in awhile either. Maybe a year. I like the keratin, when I wash my hair it’s just curly again until I blow it out. Very cool. I’m a fan. Oh yeah I DEFINITELY recommend these wedges. They’re old not but they’re fun and unique and totally comfy. I’ve had girls stop their cars while I’m walking down the sidewalk to tell me they’re cute haha.

You’re just so beautiful! I’ve always wanted those Clinic Wedges!

I’ve been debating about a keratin treatment, I think seeing your hair makes me want one more! I love this look esp that leather skirt and the wedges.
Ria
ChanningI’d definitely recommend it, especially if you want to hold onto your natural hair and find a less damaging straightening method.

Hi. 🙂
I just discovered your blog. I love this outfit but I’m quite taken with your lipstick. I’ve been looking for one in a similar shade, could you tell me who exactly makes it [brand and color name]?
Ria
NadiaHi,
I can’t remember exactly, I know I should have posted it but it was either:
Revlon Moon Drops Lipstick in Hot Coral *most likely this one*
Maybelline Sensational Lipstick Fifth Ave Fuchsia
Urban Decay makes a good orange toned color as well with their Super Saturated pencils. I use Punch Drunk.
Nadia
RiaOh thanks a million! I have a similar skin tone to yours and I’m always looking for a good shade of lipstick. ^_^
Love your blog btw; keep it up!
Amanda
I just saw this post! What can be better than a good hair day and CATS?! Divine, Miss Ria M!

Love the blog change! Pretty.I bet you could ltotlay make that tree skirt. Get a big piece of fabric you like and cut it into the shape of a tree skirt. Take a wide ribbon you like or a fabric cut into long strips (finish the edges), and by hand sew a running stitch along one edge of the ribbon/strips, scrunching the fabric down into ruffles of the size you like. Tie off your thread, then pin and sew your ruffles to the base skirt working from the outer edge inward. I don’t think it would take you long at all.
