Oh yes, I took it there. I do love a subtle homage. When it came time for my next nail art manicure, I took inspiration from the original Viniq Shimmery Liqueur. I pulled up a photo of the bottle, rather than bring one in.
Me: I want my nails to look just like the swirls in this drink. *shows photo*
Nail artist: Text me that! What drink is this?!! Is purple your favorite color?
Me: GIRL! It’s Viniq, it’s a fusion of vodka and moscato and it comes in all these different flavors. This is the OG original. They all shimmer. Purple is my favorite color and I want my nails to have the same shimmery vibe.
Nail artist: Ok, I need to try that. Say no more, I got you.
Below you can see the final product, along with a little of the process from Snapchat.

I think the Viniq is outshining me. Can you believe it shines like that. No photoshop, just really great captures. Which is why I’m going OD on these images haha. I should have done jewels on every finger, but I think we did a good job emulating the shimmery swirl. Another nail artist came into the shop and said my nails looked like a galaxy. That’s exactly what the original flavor of Viniq looks like to me. It’s really subtle and a good conversation starter which inevitably leads to everyone wanting to try Viniq. Looks like I need to get these cocktails poppin.
P.S. In case you’re wondering. In the first picture, I’m sipping on Viniq in my go-to way. That’s mixed with a little New Amsterdam vodka and a splash of lime juice. Check out some of my other Viniq posts for recipe options. There’s also some really good cocktail ideas on Viniq.com and you can share your own creations with the hashtag #bringtheshimmer to see your drink concoction on next to mine!
