We took these photos during our Tealeaves staycation at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort last month. Upon arrival I changed into this adorable retro-inspired Free People dress to explore. It skews more femme than my typical aesthetic but you know I hate to box myself in. I love the swingy silhouette and the open back. It feels a little bigger than I’d hoped so I untied the tie accent at the bust to fit a little less demure.
We discovered a basketball hoop and a basketball on the hotel property just a little bit away from the pool. I haven’t picked up a basketball in years. Maybe it was the bohemian vibes of my Free People Barcelona Summer Sandal, but I threw caution to the wind and balled. Nails be damned. Lucky for me I managed not to break a nail. I should get a bit more active. Even though it was a causal thing, just tossing a few baskets I had a lot of fun. Thanks to the St. Regis for having me and kudos for mixing things up a little with this unexpected activity option.
