I’m gonna spare you the “florals for Spring” bit, and talk about my spring cleaning lol. I’ve been donating, selling, and purging quite a bit these days and it feels great. I haven’t gotten there digitally but I’m doing pretty good at letting things go in an offline capacity. I still have more stuff than I’d like to so it’s still a work in progress but I’m happy with the path I’m on.
What are your keep it or toss it rules? Are you in the “if you don’t find yourself reaching for it, toss it” camp or the “does it spark joy?” I’m trying a combo of both. Aiming for a less cluttered and chaotic lifestyle in all things. This Aéryne (a Swedish sustainable luxury brand) top is something I’ve let go of. I enjoyed my time with this feminine piece, now it’s time to make someone else happy.
I used to sell a lot of my stuff on Poshmark but it’s quite tedious to photograph and list everything myself. Especially when life gets busy. I started using ThredUp in recent months and enjoyed their process for my lifestyle a lot more. Package up everything you want to sell and they provide a shipping label. They go through your box and photograph and list your product on their marketplace. Anything they decide not to accept gets donated or returned to you at your choice. The pandemic has had ThredUp backed up for months on sorting through submitted boxes. Recently they paused accepting boxes for review for sale, only donations.
Next up on the chopping block…these Louboutins…I never wear them BUT they spark joy because of memories. I’m a work in progress.

That’s a very wise and smart way to get things out of your house. Sometimes it’s hard to let stuff go, because they can have valuable memories.
Ria
Luc HerbergsAbsolutely.

I’m more of if it doesn’t fit or if I don’t feel a spark with it on I’m tossing. But i’m spring cleaning time for me too as I love yet again, i’m not taking nearly as much with me this time. So it will be nice to know some of these pieces are going to be loved again. I might try thread up though.

ElleI feel like we all feel a little lighter after a move as we let go more than usual. The spark is the one lol.
