The Kia K900 trademark “challenge the luxury you know” couldn’t be more true. This vehicle is EXCEPTIONAL. I’ve never driven a better car. I had this car for a few days in December during Art Basel and not only was it an elegant fit for all my events. It was truly a pleasure to drive. I don’t know that I’ve ever felt safer in a vehicle. The tech in this thing is seriously impressive. In addition to front and rear dynamic parking cameras, the Kia K900 has lane departure technology to check you when you’re not in your lane. The car alerts you if someone is in your blind spot, if you’re about to make impact with the car behind you etc. I almost felt like the car was driving itself. I finally feel like we’re on the way to the promise of the Jetson’s future. There were so many little things like the sunshades, the Nappa leather, the Harman sound system, the HUD,
Luxury, luxury, and more luxury. There are controls in the backseat, controls on the side. Peep the seat controls…they’re so section specific. Not only are the seats heated but so is the steering wheel! I pulled up to hotel to meet a friend and the valet guy came over to ask me if this was the Kia K900 and I said yes and he just kind of had this open mouth stare and then said “wow”. My friends got in the backseat and said they felt so fancy riding around in this baby. They had no idea Kia had it like this, which takes us back to challenging the luxury you know. It’s the official luxury car for the NBA. I’m pretty sure I was one of very few people driving them in 2014 which makes me feel even fancier. This commercial with Lebron James was definitely me all of Basel.
If you’re in the market for a luxury sedan, I strongly recommend taking this one out for a spin. This car just became a “#goals” situation.
