I attended the Concept Korea presentation with my friend Arabelle. I mean what could be better than good company, even better clothes and champagne. Concept Korea is a design competition that highlights designers in Korea and gives them a chance to present their collections during New York Fashion Week. The winners this year were Doho, Lie Sang Bong, Resurrection by Juyong, Son Jung Wan, and Steve J & Yoni P.
Hands down my favorite look came from Lie Sang Bong. Design wise, it was also my favorite. I love the structure and detail of this top. His use of patterns was taken from traditional Korean architectural elements. Beyond cool, essentially. I’m in love with the shape of the skirt and the unique graphic pattern on the tights. It’s subtle but striking. The styling was also impeccable. The hint of midriff , I really can’t say enough good things.
Steve J & Yoni P had a really wearable collection. I was smitten with this dress, sock, shoe combo. I wouldn’t shut up about it.
I combined Doho (the first two photos) and Son Jung Wan ( the last two photos). I liked the purple/lavender color in Doho’s collection. It was a really feminine collection if you’re like some sort of mystical woodland creature. A lot of chiffon happening. My favorite thing would have to be the icy jewelry. As for Son Jung Wan, I obviously really loved the blue dress. I love the drape and how glamorous it seemed. I’d love to wear this out to an event in Miami. It’s a little attention grabbing while still being really simple.
Time to get silly. I don’t really talk about men’s fashion on my blog since it’s not something I wear myself but I did enjoy Resurrection by Juyoung. Mostly because the male models were so cute, totally friendly, and drinking. Sen (my model crush) was there and he totally winked at me. If you’d like to see the other boys or actually see the men’s pieces check out Dapper Lou’s blog.

Wow! So many amazing outfits in this entry! The second picture actually grabbed my attention the most. I’m really digging the carved patterns on the leather skirt and the intricately woven top. And those tights? Brilliant.
Also, cute model in the last pic. 😉

Davie+EricaI’ll just leave this here since I can’t comment on your blog because you only allow google accounts and I don’t have blogger. Re your latest post:
“Both of you look phenomenal. I love the max with the cropped top the most because I love hats and long black maxi skirts like breathing haha. “

The pops of color in these garments are amazing. Plus, I think I’m in love with those two toned geometric printed tights. All in all, a wonderful collection.

Sen is totally cute!
I really like the bright blue dress (in the photo above Sen) and the first line of photos has SUCH cool looking clothes. I wonder if that blonde model was uncomfy in her outfit though.
