Denim Dialogue

I love this outfit so much. I know you guys do too. I wore it to a tasting dinner at La Mar with chef Diego Oka, it was a huge hit both on social media and at dinner. When I walked in, it was like the whole table went silent, before catching their breaths and greeting me. A little disconcerting for someone with social anxiety but that let me know I had to shoot this look. This Zara denim skirt with slit (sold out) is one that had been on my wishlist for longer than it needed to be. It was quite affordable, I’m just always a bit slow on purchasing fast fashion pieces. I think this one is worthwhile and will carry over to another season. The Maurie & Eve Feel The Love Crop Top is old but still a favorite in my closet. I last wore it on the blog here.

I was a bit stressed to shoot this and I think it shows a bit in the final output. My makeup is off, my lash is doing a weird thing it wasn’t doing when I left the house. Not sure what it was, because it’s been quite some time since I shot these so I barely remember what the day was like. I am trying to work on accepting when things don’t go my way and turning lemons into lemonade as they say. I did manage to salvage a few shots and still got to share with you guys one of my favorite outfits to date. Though, I am disappointed, it’s still a win. I know that no one cares as much as I do. People were just as hype about this outfit on snapchat as they were the professional images. I still and will alway push myself to be better than my last post. Want more for yourself is the motto til the day I die.
