I saw pictures from the Chanel and Louis Vuitton shows and thought…clogs…really…is that what we’re doing now. I wore clogs back when I was a kid, I’m pretty sure I hated them even then. It’s not to say I can’t appreciate the look of the Chanel clogs even if I’m not a fan. The Louis clogs were just flat out ugly to me.
Then I saw a preview of Jeffrey Campbell spring. Jeffrey Campbell might just be one of my favorite mid level designers, even if he can beat a dead horse under the guise of variety. Anyway the clogs the model is wearing I could totally see myself in. Not only do I dig the shoes and have an urge to have them on my feet, I love the picture. The rest of the campaigns images I was less than impressed with but I know my heart has a soft spot for Jeffrey Campbell and will end up with at least 4 or 5 of his shoes for spring on my ever expanding JC must haves.

I really love the jacket that the model is wearing in the first photo. But I agree, clogs are not something I would wear. I think I would fall over wearing the shoes she has on.
The shoes in the second picture are okay. They don’t look that high so I think I would feel okay wearing those ones.
As for if I will actually be buying any, that would be a negative. I’m not a shoe person. I only have a few pairs of shoes and hate spending money on new ones if I don’t need them.
