Hi, I’m alive. Haven’t gotten a chance to really shoot for the blog, but I will be tomorrow. Better late than never right. I wore this a few weeks ago when I first arrived on a freezing cold day with a coat I quickly discarded for this shot. I wore this to see Mykki Blanco and ended up not going and instead made it to happy hour and a few bars with my friend Yanique. She had her camera on her so we quickly dipped down a random block and snapped a few pics.

Bonus, I met Lubov of BCBG wearing the harness 🙂

You can take the girl out of Trinidad…🇹🇹😛💃🏾✨ so glad I was able to catch this installation at @miamidesigndistrict. J’OUVERT by British-Trinidadian artist @zakove came alive through performance, music, and ritual, bringing that carnival energy into the city. Moments like this remind me why I love experiencing art in the city, especially when it feels this rooted and alive.
