Zara Box Bag (only white remains, which I REALLY want)

Just got back from Detroit (technically Novi) yesterday! So happy to be able to edit these shots and post them. I love this outfit. Love, love love. The polka dots, the neon yellow, my arm party…everything. The skirt is from The Limited…like my mom shopped there when I was a kid and I shopped Limted Too. It’s a little surreal when you start shopping the same places as your parents, but hey if it’s cute and it looks good on me I’m there.

I have so many shoes…you know that moment you realize you have so much you just don’t wear. I had that with my shoes when I officially ran out of space in my main closet recently. I don’t even really wear heels with no kind of platform anymore. I used to wear these to work for 5 hours straight. There is no way now. I’ve been spoiled. I still love these though and I’ll never give them up.

I’m wearing a nude lip color from Stila which is so interesting since I don’t bother with lipstick usually if it isn’t intense. What do you guys think? I’m also wearing the shade on my cheeks, it’s one of those all over color type things. Supposedly you can use it on your lids too but I wasn’t about that.

    If you ever decide to give up those Aldos, I will take them off your hands. Although, I am like you too–platforms have totally spoiled me. They are so much easier to walk and stand in.

    This is seriously such an ingenious pairing. The dark polka dots and the neon yellow of the skirt look great together. I think the choice of black polka dots rather than colored totally keeps this outfit really balanced, and the black strappy shoes are GORGEOUS.

    I want these so so badly.

    But in truth, the bag has captured my heart. I am so sad that only the white is left – but I bet that looks great too. There is something so strangely futuristic yet simultaneously classic about that purse, and I bet it goes with EVERYTHING. I seriously love how you’ve paired black with yellow here – it looks so great on you.

    & that’s funny you say that about The Limited. I posted a belt from there the other day, and felt so strange typing that name – I felt old! haha
