In truth, I’ve always shied away from red clothing and even red nails. It’s my mom’s favorite color so of course, as an independent teen it couldn’t be mine. I’ve not come around on red nails yet (though they’re having a “moment“) but I have found myself reaching for more red clothing. Trust me when I say, in a sea of black dresses you want to be the red one.
