There’s so much I haven’t shared in an evergreen way here on the blog. I say I will do it and never get around to it. Makes me sad to neglect the blog that has taken me all around the world but that’s the nature of the Instagram beast. I pretty much only use Instagram and Twitter with any kind of regularity and even Twitter I fell off from for a bit. It’s a pretty big milestone to be on a cover of a magazine. Especially in this way, where I’m recognized for my style amongst the city of Miami. Sharing on Instagram it’s swallowed up gone, and buried by the next bit of content. Such a momentous occasion never to be seen again, unless someone is doing a deep dive of my Instagram. So here I am showing up for my blog, and sharing this amazing thing I got the chance to do in a more permanent way. As it deserves.
This was one of the first things I broke my quarantine to do. We shot the cover individually to limit exposure to others outside of our household. Then we were all photoshopped together for the final cover. The whole process was so fun, from picking the looks out with the stylist, to the actual shoot day. We did not get to have a party to celebrate the cover as we would have pre-pandemic to abide by local restrictions. Safety first.
What I wear can elevate my entire day, it can act as armor against the world, it can be transformative…
It’s really an endless form of expression and discovery with many avenues to explore.

All the looks were by Charlie Rincon who has been killing the styling game. Loved working together with the shops at Brickell City Centre to pull looks. The makeup artist Caesar Ferrette also starred in the cover in addition to doing our makeup. What do you think of my looks? I’ve included the pieces below you can shop or something similar.
