If Not Meow…

When? I do this thing which I’m sure a lot of you can relate to, where I take pictures and never post them. What in the world am I waiting for? I always say I’m going to do better about this but never actually do consistently.

I shot these images for a campaign with Shoe Carnival back in February. You may remember my in-store review a couple of posts back. I loved these images but the rush to get them onto my blog or even Instagram (outside of posting deadlines) isn’t there anymore. I have my moments of course but I’m holding onto quality content more often than not. I’m trying to find the reason behind that. Is it that the space is just so different than it used to be when we all first started blogging? I know the lifespan so to speak of my content isn’t going to be very long. Is it because this has become work? Granted work that I love and chose but still work nonetheless.

Anyway, I’m hoping that calling myself out on this can break me out of this habit. I want to rekindle the passion of sharing a piece of myself here on this blog. This is a place where shelf life goes a bit longer, the content is searchable, and the place that started it all.

Let’s talk fashion! This dress was sent to me by Nasty Gal and it’s called the If Not Meow Leopard Midi Dress. I’ve worn it a couple of times both with and without the belt it comes with. The dress obviously inspired the name of this post. It’s sold out now but I’ll link some other cute options below. I’m still very into animal print and show no signs of slowing down on that front. I paired it with Shoe Carnival heels because of the campaign but will share some others that work well too.

What do you guys think? Should I have left these images on my hard drive lol?
