Matador Room Terrace Brunch With Tous

I woke up late, threw something on and made it to 10 am service at Vous church. After church, my boyfriend and I usually take photos for the blog and brunch. Since I threw something on, I hadn’t planned on shooting so we just headed to brunch. On the way, I remembered that there was a blogger brunch happening for TOUS at The Matador Room Terrace. Damn, I’d forgotten to RSVP. I shot off an email and texted the host to see if I could still squeeze us in. Done and done.

Why was I so pressed even though we were already on our way to have our own brunch? Four words: The Matador Room Terrace. I love the Miami Beach Edition Hotel so much and brunch, lunch or dinner on the terrace is divine. 10 out of 10 experience, would recommend. I’ve spent quite a bit of time at the Edition (sometimes too much time) and while it never gets old, I’m kind of used to it. You ever just want to go somewhere with someone because it’s their first time. It’s like you feel their excitement and energy through osmosis or something. That’s how I feel bringing my boyfriend along with me to all my events, hotels, and exploits. ✨✨✨

As for my look, there was no time to do my hair. I pulled it up, grabbed a ribbed maxi dress from Zara and stuck to an all black palette. It’s been on and off chilly here in Miami, so I almost never leave the house without some kind of outerwear. It’s definitely throwing me off, I’ve even broken out real coats this year. I don’t remember that being the case last year at all. I know I asked for cooler weather but can I have a middle ground. I’m specifying because I do not want to jump right into sweltering conditions. Never satisfied.
