Iorane came riding into my Instagram DM’s sometime back in July 2015. I’m so glad they were persistent and that I was finally able connect with this Brazilian brand. They sell online, but also have a temporary pop up shop currently in the Aventura Mall so I decided to swing by.
The Iorane store is gorgeous and the pieces are refreshing and on trend, but still feel unique in their design. I hate that “well I can just buy this somewhere else feeling” when shopping. I want to feel like the piece I’m purchasing is almost one of a kind. If someone we’re to ask they have to go there and only there to get it. Mass produced fashion has its place of course but it can get boring.
I snapchatted by Iorane experience, and the immediate feedback was I need to take the ruffle top home. I had terrible service in the store so I didn’t get all the messages til after I left. It was great to reply to everyone like “you already know that came home with me” haha.
I paired the top in this look with the softest suede skirt, also from Iorane. It’s a great wine color, it was actually the first thing I picked out in the store. Ted & Muffy had sent over these great over-the-knee boots a few days before and I knew I had my look. They’re cool because they do an array of calf sizes so that you never have to settle for less than perfection. Ever.
A girlfriend of mine said this outfit gives her Dolce & Gabbana vibes. What do you think? I think it’s the Express skinny scarf I wouldn’t leave the mall without purchasing. I first saw it online on sale but add in shipping, it just made no sense to buy. I had to seize the opp being at the mall. It completely brought the look together for me.
