White Party in Dubai

I’ve been meaning to post this photo diary from my birthday in November. We spent the morning in the air traveling from the Maldives back to Dubai. Once we arrived at the famed Burj Al Arab we checked into our deluxe two-bedroom suite and our butler showed us around the room and how to use all the tech. Using the secret kitchen entrance a team of butlers then surprised the heck out of me with a Spanish guitar birthday serenade. I was in a “glass case of emotion” and definitely cried and hugged it out with my girl Yanique. It was a happy cry.

For my birthday we decided we’d all wear white. I chose this stunning AQ/AQ‘s Bowie Cream Draped Maxi Dress. I found it last-minute and had it shipped to New York so I could have it for Dubai. It was that serious. We had dinner at Al Muntaha, which is Arabic for “The Ultimate” or “The Top”. At dinner, I was surprised with another birthday cake and flowers. I’ve never had this many birthday cakes. I also had one in the Maldives haha.

Shoutout to the Cavalli Club as they were the only people to ever get my name right on the cake. At Cavalli club we went absolutely crazy on Dom Perignon and I had to snap a couple selfie’s in the super pink glam bathroom. Big Ali‘s performance was a bonus as I had no idea he’d be there. We went to an after party, the night (and basically the whole trip) became a blur, and we got overcharged by a cab driver back to our hotel. It was all so worth it. Best birthday ever.
